Whats the better way to celebrate new year...

Friends it often amazes me when a year passes and new year comes.

One should celebrate new year or not........ ? If one carries a poll, now I feel most of the genx gals and boys wish to enjoy life.... So they wish to celebrate...
If one moves with their view life is to enjoy... life is to celebrate....but what enjoy and celebrate really mean.... it has its own meaning based on the nature and thinking of the individual.....

Does venturing into a pub dance with glittering ultramod guys n gals and wishing new year is what celebration means? Sipping a drink, shouting the language that comes out at that time is the celebration?

Some wish to silently assemble, reviews what happend, how they reacted to situations. For some bygone year is a bygone one, for some its a stepping stone. Some wants to meditate, wish to control themselves better in the coming years....
Some wish to spend time with family and parents....

Young people have their own way of celebration... so as the old... but it often mismatches.... but life is as such....

Then whats the better way to celebrate?

In my view stay committed to your decisions; but stay flexible in your approach depending on the circumstances and situations prevailing.

Wish you a happy, prosperous, peaceful, stressless and content new year ahead.

Life is like Coffee.....Taste It not Waste It

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university lecturer. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said: "If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups.""Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life does not change."

"Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."So folks, don't let the cups drive you...enjoy the coffee instead.

Never Never Never Give Up : Inspirational Story

One day I decided to quit... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the forest to have one last talk with God.

"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"His answer surprised me...
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes", I replied.

God replies - When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

"In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.

In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. "I would not quit." He said.

"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.

Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant... But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.

I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."He said to me.

"Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been Struggling, you have actually been growing roots.""I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.

"Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern ... Yet, they both make the forest beautiful."Your time will come, "God said to me. " You will rise high!

"How high should I rise?" I asked.

How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return."As high as it can?" I questioned."Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."I left the forest and bring back this story.

I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. He will never give up on you. Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happinessBad days give you experiences;both are essential to life.

A happy and meaningful life requires our continuous input and creativity. It does not happen by chance. It happens because of our choices and actions. And each day we are given new opportunities to choose and act and, in doing so, we create our own unique journey." Keep going...

Three Minute Management Course

3 Minutes Management Lessons

Lesson One:

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.
A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, “Can I also sit like you and do nothing?”
The eagle answered: “Sure, why not.”
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested.
All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Lesson One: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson Two:

A turkey was chatting with a bull.
“I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree.” Sighed the turkey, “but I haven’t got the energy.”
“Well, why don’t you nibble on some of my droppings?” replied the bull.
“They’re packed with nutrients.”
The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.
The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.
Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.
Lesson Two: Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won’t keep you there for long.

Lesson Three:

A little bird was flying south for the winter.
It was so cold; the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.
While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.
As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.
The dung was actually thawing him out! He laid there all warm and happy,
and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.
Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung.
He promptly dug him out and ate him.

Lesson Three:

(a) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(b) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(c) And when you’re in deep shit, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!

Mother's Sacrifice: My friend's Poem

Symptoms of a heart attack

Symptoms of a heart attack may be widely varied, from the classic "elephant on the chest" feeling of crushing pain, to the nausea and heartburn mistaken for indigestion. In some patients, the symptoms may only be sudden fatigue or an oppressive feeling of impending death
